CHARTERED Electrical Engineer Paul Handforth has returned to Wakefield based  Mechanical and Electrical consultant engineers Services Design Partnership as a director.

Paul worked previously with the 30-year-old company which specialises in creating high spec, complex pharmaceutical, research and medical Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) designs that enable improved healthcare and greater efficiencies in key sectors.

Recent years have seen Paul adding to his extensive consulting engineering experience, especially within the Pharmaceutical sector, with key projects including the design and installation of buildings in Russia, Germany, Algeria, France and Ireland including Oral Solid Dosage Facilities, pMDI Packing plant and Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing and Research facilities.

“These projects included highly specialised designs associated with pharmaceutical clean room environments, hazardous areas and complex electrical engineering systems which are all areas of specialism for SDP,” said Paul. “I’m looking forward to using my experience to the benefit of SDP’s clients many of whom are industry leaders within their sectors.”
